Example battery recovery

A five year old car starter battery had struggled through the autumn but with the onset of winter it died.
Instead of sending the battery to the tip it was assessed then attached to Megapulse conditioner.

Load Test : Start voltage : 12.67v
10 sec load dropped to : 10.80v
After 20 min recovered to : 12.32v

At 1 month :
Load Test : Start voltage : 12.69v
10 sec load dropped to : 11.15v
After 20 min recovered to : 12.55v

At 2 months :
Load Test : Start voltage : 12.89v
10 sec load dropped to : 11.74v
After 20 min recovered to : 12.89v

Specific gravity checks :
1.275, 1.275, 1.300, 1.275, 1.300, 1.275

Confirming all cells recovered
The battery was put back on the car and performed well for another three years - remember this was only a budget battery that was used until it was scrap - and then brought back into useful service.
We expect at least a doubling of life span if conditioned from new - particularly if a quality battery is used.
